Vampire the Masquerade

Vampire the Masquerade is the most iconic of World of Darkness gamelines, and its 5th edition was published in 2018. The first ever release of VTM5 for FoundryVTT was in 2020, by Rayji96.

The WOD5E system includes support for Vampire and Ghoul sheets, as well as a Coterie sheet.

Automation

Vampire sheets have basic automation for Hunger dice:

  • Hunger Dice. Hunger dice can be rolled from the “Rouse” button in the sheet’s header, or by clicking the “Hunger Cost” button on the right side of any Discipline. This will, if enabled, automatically increase hunger on any failed Hunger dice rolls.

  • Ghoul Discipline Powers. Ghoul sheets, because they don’t have hunger, instead will deal one Aggravated damage when the “Cost” button on a Discipline is pressed for any Discipline power greater than level 1.

  • Blood Potency Bonuses. Bonuses to discipline rolls are automatically added in the roll dialogue if a vampire’s potency is high enough.

  • Rouse Check Re-rolls. If a vampire’s potency is high enough, then it will automatically roll extra dice on any discipline power rouse check and keep the highest results.

Hunter the Reckoning

Hunter the Reckoning was added to the Foundry system by MrDionysus in 2022 with version 2.0.0, shortly after the sourcebook’s publication in the same year.

The WOD5E system includes support for Hunter sheets and the Cell character sheet.

Werewolf the Apocalypse

Werewolf the Apocalypse was added to the Foundry system in 2023 by Veilza with release 3.0.0, shortly after its publication in the same year.

The WOD5E system includes support for Werewolf character sheets, and plans for a Pack sheet is in the works.

Automation

Werewolf sheets come with various bits of automation:

  • Rage Dice. Rage dice can be rolled by the Rage button in the sheet’s header, or by clicking the “Rage/Willpower Cost” button the right side of any Gift. This will, if the setting is enabled, automatically reduce the rage on any failed Rage dice rolls.

  • Form Transformations. Werewolf sheets also come with automation for switching forms; upon clicking to switch forms, if there’s a Rage cost to switching forms, the sheet will automatically roll any necessary Rage dice before updating your active form. If this reduces your Rage to 0, shifting forms will fail.

  • Gift Costs. Alongside Rage Dice automation, Gifts also have a “Willpower Cost” field, which can automatically damage willpower upon using the gift. This is done with the same button as rolling the Rage cost of a gift.
